WHO WE ARE
Madonna House Washington is called to be an open-door offering hospitality of heart and home, a house of prayer and fasting on the Hill, an outreach to accompany and form in the spiritual life, a hand of friendship to the poor. Welcome pilgrim!
We are a Catholic community of laymen, women, and priests. Our life together is modelled after the Holy Family who served humbly in the hidden village of Nazareth, forming the first community of love. We breathe from "the two lungs" of the Church - both East and West. We follow the path of Our Lady, the perfect disciple, under the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity and obedience. Our main center is in Combermere, Ontario, Canada, and we have mission houses around the world.
