UPCOMING EVENTS
What's Happening
We not only open our homes to Christ in others but our hearts as well. We do this by a listening ear, a meal shared, laughter around the table, weeping with those who weep, receiving and loving all who call. We look forward to meeting you!
Feel free to contact us for more information.
Holy Walking Women's Group

Craft and Culture: Visio Divina
Please join us on Saturday October 24th from 1-3pm at Madonna House as we meet again for our “Craft and Culture” series. We will be featuring Jennifer Healy as we pray with sacred art and learn about the communicative power of symbols in Medieval Cathedrals.

Jenny taught visual arts for many years at the Austria Program of Franciscan University, and her current work at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops involves international travel, which gives her the opportunity to experience the sacred art of many different cultures. She has a PhD in language didactics and an M.A. in art history.
Craft and Culture: Argentinian Alfajores
Please join us on Saturday November 14th from 1-3pm at Madonna House as we meet again for our “Craft and Culture” series. We will be featuring Maria Marta Ferreyra as we prepare alfajores, a traditional Argentinian dessert!

"Be Still and Know that I am God" Retreat
Shereen Yusuf Author, Speaker and Certified Breath Coach guides us into a deeper experience of interior silence and prayer. Drawing from the rich contemplative tradition of the Catholic Church, participants will learn practical ways to quiet both the body and the mind, becoming more attentive to the presence and voice of God.
Through guided prayer, Sacred Scripture, periods of silence, simple breath awareness, and reflection, we will explore how to enter the “poustinia of the heart”—that inner place where Christ dwells and where He desires to meet each of us personally.
